CSIA (Chimney Safety Institute of America)

The CSIA, established in 1983, is a non-profit, educational institution, dedicated to educating the public about the prevention of chimney safety hazards.

We are both Certified Chimney Sweeps and Certified Dryer Exhaust Technicians (C-Det).

NYSCSG (New York State Chimney Sweep Guild)

The New York State Chimney Sweep Guild is the largest state association of chimney sweeps in the country. Through strong membership, our association promotes chimney and fire safety programs for the public as well as providing education and training opportunities for our members. Member companies demonstrate an additional strong commitment to our trade, and to the safety of the public we serve.

NYSCSG Connecticut Member (New York State Chimney Sweep Guild Ct Member)

Connecticut is an affiliate division of the New York State Chimney Sweep Guild. Membership is fully voluntary, and is the hallmark of a company that has made a strong commitment to the chimney service trade. The Guild affords our members extra educational opportunities to bring you the most up-to-date techniques in the services they provide. Membership also means they have subscribed to our strict code of ethics in business and safety practices.

National Fireplace Institute®

"The National Fireplace Institute® (NFI) is the professional certification division of the HPB Education Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit educational organization for the hearth industry. NFI’s objective is to increase public safety by establishing meaningful credentials for professionals involved in planning and installing residential hearth appliance and venting systems. NFI, established in 2002, certifies planners and installers in three hearth product categories based upon fuel type:

• NFI Gas Specialist
• NFI Woodburning Specialist
• NFI Pellet Specialist. "
